Multi-Size Sanitary Pad Matrix: Naming, Length and Pack Ratio Control
2026-07-30

A multi-size sanitary pad range needs a clear matrix before the buyer asks for a detailed quote. Without one, product names, lengths, pack ratios and carton records can quickly become mixed. The matrix is the quiet document that keeps the project sane.
Separate Product Name From Specification
A product name may support the market story, but the quotation should still show exact length, pack count and sample code. Buyers should avoid using only family names when several sizes sit under one line. Each size needs its own record.
Build the Length and Ratio Table
For wholesale planning, list every length, the pack count for each length and the ratio expected in mixed cartons or mixed retail sets. This lets the factory quote the right structure and lets the buyer compare different launch plans without changing the whole discussion.
Connect the Matrix to Artwork
Each length may need its own artwork or a shared design with variable data. The matrix should identify which artwork applies to which size. This prevents a 245mm pack, a 290mm pack and a 420mm pack from sharing unclear files.
Use the Matrix for Repeat Orders
Once a matrix is approved, it becomes useful for reorder control. Buyers can mark which size changed, which pack count changed and which artwork remains unchanged. That makes repeat-order communication much cleaner.
Buyer Review Table
| Review Item | What to Confirm | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Family name and SKU name | Separates story from data |
| Length | Each approved pad length | Controls quote accuracy |
| Pack ratio | Mixed set or carton ratio | Supports wholesale planning |
| Artwork | Version by size | Prevents file confusion |
OEM Buyer FAQ
Can one artwork serve several lengths?
Sometimes, but variable data must be controlled clearly.
Should the matrix include carton data?
Yes, even if early carton data is estimated, it gives the project a logistics reference.
Why use a matrix instead of chat notes?
A matrix is easier to check, revise and share across buyer, factory and design teams.
